October talk on Azaleas with John trott.

An excellent evening from John, covering all aspects of Azalea`s as bonsai, very informative, with good examples of his work to view and discuss. Lets hope we can all recall the info later, though I am assured he has a phone ! be ready for some calls John.

 Just about to start trimming the big bush in front of him, profile is the key, dont remove all the growing tips or you are left with no flowers next season. Cut hard back the extended  growth only is they way to go .

The winner of our Bryn Wilson trophy this month as judged by John, It is our trophy for new faces; a tree that has never gained any accolades within the society.
